Laziness perpetuates into every facet of our society and shortening dialect, which is the first steps towards linguistic anarchy, will most likely proceed to become more and more popular. People prefer the easier option, even when speaking. I even heard a woman over 50 say LOL to her friends. I wonder why my picture does not display next to my response. Do you have this option turned on in the Wordpress tools? I do not know of any study that has yet been conducted. Perhaps you would like to begin one?
